NuWave PIC Titanium 1800W Portable Induction Cooktop Review

It is never too early or too late to enjoy cooking. Whether you are a college student, are in your golden years, or you have a relative who is, then you may be looking for a way to encourage yourself or them to cook more, be more independent, and do it safely.

In any case, an induction cooktop is an ideal solution. Induction cooktops allow inexpensive, portable, and extremely safe heat to be transferred to induction-ready pans and pots. The pot will heat, but the induction top will remain cool when the pot is not present. These cooktops are standard issue in a lot of college dorms, and they make great gifts for both the young and the old.

The NuWave PIC Titanium 1800W portable induction cooktop is a great choice for new cookers, college students, the elderly, and anyone else who wants to be able to cook full meals for themselves safely and inexpensively. Induction cooking is an extremely effectively and very safe way to cook, and though full induction ranges cost thousands of dollars, this portable induction cooktop costs only a fraction of that amount.

NuWave is a great name in induction cooking, and this offering is sure to provide years of reliable cooking to many people. If you or a loved one are in need of a way to cook on the go or if safety and cost is a concern for you, then this is a great option.

What makes these burners so safe is that they only react when you use an induction-safe pot or pan on them. They detect the pan and begin the process of heating it. Once the pan is removed, the burner itself quickly cools because it no longer has the pan to react to.

This really cuts down on accidents that can occur by accidentally touching stove tops or leaving them on for too long. As long as there is no pan on the induction burner, it will remain cool even while turned on. So you aren't going to have to worry about yourself or a loved one leaving it on and burning down their abode.

Features

The NuWave PIC Titanium 1800W portable induction cooktop comes standard with all of the features you will need to get cooking right away, safely and inexpensively. This cooktop is quite large -- larger than many others in its class -- and can accommodate cookware up to 12.3 inches in diameter.

It also supports up to 50 pounds of weight load, so you can use that 12-quart stockpot with confidence. This is going to be the perfect solution if you need to cook for a lot of people. Especially if you're also in a place without ready access to a stove.

For example, if you like to go camping with your family and extended family and want to be able to cook for everyone then this is a great option because it will be able to work with a larger pot or pan. When the cooking is all done, you also won't have to worry about the kind of intense cleanup that can come with other kinds of cooking stoves or even grills.

All you'll need to do is give it a good wipe-down and you'll be ready to go back to enjoying time with your family. It's also going to be easy to pack and store just about anywhere. There are no heavy or potentially dangerous fuels that need to be used, and it takes virtually no time at all to get cooking.

Younger folks who are staying in dorms or trying to save money by living in a quad or small apartment may also not readily have access to a stove, which can lead to a lot of take out, delivery, or microwaved dinners. Those staying in the dorms may quickly get tired of the food available on campus.

In situations like these, the NuWave PIC Titanium 1800W portable induction cooktop can be a real-life saver. Even if you don't enjoy cooking, you can use this to cook more food less often and then have healthier meals available throughout the week. Regardless of what you may need it for, you're not going to go wrong with an induction burner. It's sure to be a helpful addition to any cooking setup.

NuWave Titanium Review

Got the NuWave Titanium induction cooktop for a gift at Christmas. Really love this and plan to use it in RV. This will save money as I won't have to use propane to cook my daily breakfast. The cooktop heats up instantly instead of waiting for my propane burners.
